About us Grand Pacific Health (GPH) is a for-purpose community-based organisation. GPH provides high quality health services to assist people in the management of their physical and mental health. GPH’s mission is to provide equitable heath care with an emphasis on helping vulnerable and at risk of disadvantage populations as well as regional communities. GPH employs over 400 staff including many qualified health and other professionals including peer workers and community workers. GPH operations cover a large regional geographical footprint in NSW and ACT. About the position The Administration Officer is responsible for providing high quality administrative services to support the delivery of the services and activities of the office hub including being the offices first point of contact for consumers over the phone and at reception. Each hub generally has a number of programs offering a range of services to the local community including mental health counselling, alcohol and other drugs support services and allied health programs. The role works flexibly and collaboratively with other teams, locations and administrative staff to support the delivery of effective and efficient administration services to meet the needs of the hub and GPH organisation. This position is a part time opportunity, 24 hours per week. Fixed term until 30 June 2026 with possibility for extension. This role will be working across headspace Wollongong, GPH Keira Street, Wollongong and headspace Shellharbour hub when required.
We are looking for someone with:
- Relevant qualifications in administration and or a combination of relevant training and experience in a similar role
- Strong organisational skills including the ability to prioritise work, manage multiple tasks and competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with strong customer service skills and an ability to effectively engage with a wide diversity of people including the ability to work respectfully with people with mental health difficulties.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently when required but also to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others as part of a team.
