About Us

Bay Hand Therapy is a stand-alone clinic located in Beaumaris, specialising in hand therapy and rehabilitation. As part of the Healthia network, we work closely with Re-Wired Hand Therapy & Nerve Recovery, delivering outstanding care to our patients. Our team includes experienced Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and support staff dedicated to making a positive impact on our patients’ lives.

The Role

As our Receptionist at Bay Hand Therapy, you will be the face of the clinic, ensuring every patient receives a warm and welcoming experience. This role involves working alongside a small, friendly team, including at least one OT or Physio and up to two therapists at any given time.

Your typical working days and hours will be on Thursday's, from 9AM-5PM as well as on Friday's, from 8AM-4PM. While your principal location of work will be at our clinic based in Beaumaris, you may also be required to provide occasional coverage at our Bay Hand Therapy clinic based in Berwick.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Answering phone calls, taking messages, and responding to emails with professionalism and courtesy.

Greeting patients, processing payments, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive first impression and experience.

Managing administrative tasks such as reconciling payments and liaising with third parties as needed.

Collaborating with the Practice Manager, Senior Receptionist, and Accounts Administrator to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Providing support for Re-Wired Hand therapy within the network when needed.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is proactive, reliable, and has a keen eye for detail. You’ll have excellent communication skills, a strong customer service ethos, and the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks efficiently. Previous experience in a reception or administration role, particularly in a healthcare setting, would be advantageous.
