The Company
Our Melbourne based client are an established organisation who are going through a lot of growth at the moment and as a result are looking to bring all their IT infrastructure inhouse.

Responsibilities

• System Reliability and Performance: Oversee the stability and performance of all IT infrastructure to ensure optimal uptime and user experience.
• Security and Compliance: Implement and uphold strong security standards, maintaining compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
• Leadership and Development: Inspire and develop team members, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate across departments to align infrastructure initiatives with broader business goals.
• Assisting & managing relationships with external vendors & contractors.
• Lead Azure migration from outsourced MSP.
• Deliver hands-on support across infrastructure, service delivery, cybersecurity, and emerging application needs.
• Recommend, document, and oversee policies and procedures to meet industry best practices and to meet required SLAs

Your Background/Experience

• Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in Azure cloud infrastructure, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Certifications in Microsoft Office365 & Azure.

• Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft technologies: Windows Server, Active Directory, MS SQL, Azure, Office 365, Dynamics 365, Power Platform.
• Strong hands-on experience with ERP software - SAP

• Extensive experience in supporting end-user computing environments including desktop/laptop management, profile management, and application delivery.
