Ashley & Martin, a leading provider of medical hair solutions for over 60 years, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Consultant Team Lead to inspire and guide our growing team of 20+ sales professionals.
This pivotal position offers a unique opportunity to build on an established leadership framework and transition into a dedicated, full-time leadership role.

- Strategic Impact: Leverage an existing management and leadership framework developed by an external consultant and contribute to its ongoing optimisation to drive ethical sales processes and strategies.
- Meaningful Work: Play a key role in a company dedicated to making a lasting impact on people's well-being by providing life changing solutions.
- Attractive Compensation: Receive a highly competitive package ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 which includes your base salary, commissions, and performance-based incentives. About You:
You are a proactive, results oriented leader with a proven track record in sales management or team leadership. Even if you've led a smaller team less than 5 individuals, you possess the ambition and skills to manage and develop a larger team. You are passionate about coaching others to thrive and are confident in taking ownership of team performance and strategic direction.
- Proven Sales Leadership: You have demonstrated experience in sales management or team leadership, ideally within a healthcare, wellness, or B2C consultative sales environment.
- Team Development Expertise: Exceptional coaching, mentoring, and team-building skills are paramount. You excel at fostering a high performance culture.
- Strategic & Analytical Thinker: You possess strong analytical and problem solving abilities, capable of identifying growth opportunities and implementing effective strategies to drive revenue.
- Consultative Sales Acumen: A strong understanding of consultative selling principles and practices, with the ability to lead by example and guide client interactions.
- Communication Excellence: You possess excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, essential for both team leadership and high level collaboration.
- Ethical Commitment: You are deeply committed to ethical practices and delivering exceptional client care.
Your Role in Our Growth:
- Team Leadership & Coaching: Lead, motivate, and coach a team of Sales Consultants & Customer Service Specialists to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Operational Immersion & Direct Sales (Initial Phase): For the first 6-12 months, engage directly with clients to understand their needs, provide consultations, and develop personalised treatment plans. This hands on experience is crucial for informing your leadership, and you'll be compensated for any sales made. Expectation is this will utilise ~30% of your time.
- Strategic Transition: Progress towards a full time management role focused entirely on team leadership, strategic sales optimisation, and consultant development, with no requirement for direct client sales.
- Performance Ownership: Take full ownership of sales performance, identify key trends, and implement effective strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the Senior Executive Team, Marketing, and Operations to ensure seamless sales processes and a consistently positive client experience.
Your Work Environment:
This role is primarily based at our Southbank, VIC clinic, Monday to Friday. This is an on-site role, with no opportunity for work-from-home arrangements.
