About the Role

WorkPac are seeking an experienced Quarry Manager for a permanent opportunity based in Orange, NSW. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day quarry operations with a focus on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily quarry operations and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations

Manage and develop site personnel to build a high-performing team

Oversee material extraction, processing, and quality control to meet customer and market demands

Drive cost-effective production, manage budgets, and monitor operational performance

Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and regulatory stakeholders

Skills and Experience Required

Experience in quarry or mining operations in a leadership or management capacity

Certificate IV in Surface Extraction and working towards (or willing to obtain) Tier 2 Practicing Certificate

Strong understanding of OHS legislation and compliance standards

Proven ability to lead teams and promote a culture of safety and performance

Budgeting and cost control experience within a production environment
