About the role

The Aboriginal Cancer Care Coordinator provides support, guidance and referral of Aboriginal clients, family members and carers to access timely and appropriate Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) services for cancer management.

About You

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Applicants must be of Aboriginal and/ or Torres Strait Islander descent. Aboriginality is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised by section 14(d) of the Anti- Discrimination Act 1977.
  • Hold a tertiary qualification in a relevant field or equivalent work experience in a clinical role, or a combination of study and work experience.
  • Be able to be flexible and respond to differing workloads and possess excellent time management skills.
  • High level of professionalism with ability to work independently and as part of a large team.
