About the role

As a Nurse Manager, Recruitment Services you will partner with Hiring Managers and candidates to facilitate recruitment activities for critical and hard-to-fill nursing and midwifery roles. Leveraging clinical expertise, your role ensures best practice nursing recruitment and while contributing to the innovation and enhancement of nursing recruitment strategies.

Your key responsibilities as a Nurse Manager, Recruitment Services will be;

  • Provide end-to-end recruitment services for hard-to-fill nursing roles, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
  • Partner with Hiring Managers to deliver best-practice recruitment strategies that attract and retain nursing talent.
  • Engage with nursing candidates to promote careers and deliver efficient recruitment outcomes aligned with NSW Health Policy.
  • Offer expert advice on candidate suitability based on nursing scope of practice and organisational context.
  • Drive continuous improvement in recruitment practices and service delivery.
  • Develop and update internal processes and guidelines to enhance recruitment effectiveness and efficiency.

About you

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse, with a sound understanding of nursing scope of practice across a variety of clinical settings.
  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end recruitment or workforce coordination, ideally within healthcare or complex service environments.
  • Proven ability to build strong partnerships with hiring managers and stakeholders to deliver strategic, candidate-focused recruitment outcomes.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to review and enhance recruitment processes, balancing clinical insight with policy compliance.
