About the Role:
Reporting to the State Manager - NSW, you will play a crucial role in the business development success of our operations in NSW. Your responsibilities will include providing a personalized sales approach, and serve as a point of contact within the NSW Branch for new business enquiry.
A Sales Representative within DMF is required to lead, manage, and participate in the achievement of the Company’s vision and State strategy alignment, to ensure targets are achieved whilst ensuring the company quality and service standards are maintained.
The Ideal background and experience of the successful candidate would be a person who has a strong background in sales and manufacturing operations. Either an experienced sales manager, or someone with the right attitude wanting to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
Face to Face meetings, proposals, and solution based selling.
Site measurements and recommendations to clients.
Utilizing lead generation tools to identify new business opportunities.
Work with State Manager to ensue targets and KPI's are met.
Support National Business Development Manager through customer contact.
Handover sales orders to Production with accuracy and detail.
Requirements for Success:
Experience working in a production business (or similar).
Experience within the Construction, Transport, or Manufacturing industries would be preferred.
Strong background in Customer Service and solution based selling.
Significant knowledge and understanding of plant, equipment, and industrial sales
Proven ability to communicate both orally, and in writing with customers
Demonstrate ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Ability to work to deadlines, prioritize, and work under pressure.
General mechanical/machinery knowledge would be an advantage.
Good computer skills, with general knowledge of MS Office programs.
Excellent relationship building, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
