We’re now looking for a Support Team Technical Manager with strong technical and troubleshooting skills to support our growing national customer base and help maintain best-in-class solar system performance.
About the Role
This role is at the frontline of our post-sale customer experience. You’ll manage technical escalations, oversee monitoring platforms, and proactively identify underperforming systems. With direct access to vendor portals and dashboards, you'll play a pivotal role in resolving connectivity issues and guiding support staff through complex troubleshooting—helping customers get the most from their solar investment.
This position is ideal for someone with a solar engineering background, experience with inverter or battery manufacturers, or strong familiarity with active monitoring platforms and performance analysis.
Your Responsibilities
Act as primary technical escalation for support cases
Diagnose and resolve customer connectivity or inverter issues
Manage portal setup and access for monitoring systems
Review system performance data and provide recommendations
Lead internal training and knowledge sharing for support staff
Conduct active monitoring and raise service tasks as needed
Collaborate with manufacturers and field service partners to resolve warranty or hardware issues
What You’ll Need
Experience in solar/battery troubleshooting and system monitoring
Background in engineering or advanced tech support preferred
Understanding of inverter platforms (Sungrow, Fronius, Enphase, etc.)
Familiarity with customer connectivity (WiFi, networking basics)
Ability to analyse generation/consumption data and identify issues
Experience supporting remote teams and delivering guidance
Excellent communication and documentation skills
