We are looking for a motivated highly skilled Project Engineer with 5+ years’ experience to join our Melbourne-based team. You will play a key leadership role delivering a diverse range of civil infrastructure and structural projects across Victoria.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of civil - structural projects from inception through to completion.

· Oversee project engineering functions including cost control, forecasting, procurement and program management.

· Manage subcontractor performance and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders.

· Ensure all works are completed safely, on schedule and to the highest quality standards.

· Drive compliance with OH&S, environmental and quality management systems.

· Provide mentoring and technical guidance to Site Engineers and graduate engineers.

To be successful in this key role, you must have:

· Bachelor Degree (or Diploma) in Engineering, Science, Building Construction, Construction Management or equivalent.

· 5+ years’ experience as a Project Engineer (structures and bridge experience highly regarded).

· Strong knowledge of civil construction methodologies, contracts and financial management.

· Proven track record managing subcontractors and delivering projects on time and within budget.

· Exceptional leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, plans and specifications.

· Current driver’s licence and full Australian work rights.
