In-House Architect – High-Volume Residential Projects

About the Role
As our dedicated in-house architect, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping projects from concept through to approval, working collaboratively with our planning and construction teams. You'll produce stunning designs that are compliant, cost-aware, and tailored to our clients' needs.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead architectural design for granny flats and duplexes at scale
Manage high-volume workflow with precision across 150+ projects/year
Prepare DA/CDC documentation for council submission
Collaborate with construction teams to ensure practical, build-ready designs
Select colours, finishes and materials to elevate client experience
Stay across NSW planning codes and residential design trends
About You
Minimum 3–5 years' experience in residential architecture
Proven ability to manage high-volume design projects
Registered or on the path to registration in NSW
Current NSW Architectural Registration required (or final registration examination scheduled within 6 months)
Strong knowledge of NSW codes, CDC requirements and DA processes
Proficiency in ArchiCAD, Revit or similar
Advanced proficiency in ArchiCAD or Revit (minimum 3 years' daily use)
Detail-oriented, practical, and creative
Demonstrated experience preparing comprehensive construction documentation and building specifications
Must have permanent right to work in Australia and be willing to undergo pre-employment checks
