About the role

Our client is seeking a creative and skilled Landscape Architect to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of land planning, design principles, and sustainable development practices. As a Residential Landscape Architect, you will be responsible for designing outdoor spaces such as gardens and recreational areas that are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and environmentally responsible.

About YOU

As a Residential Landscape Architect, you will be highly creative and be focused on designing outdoor spaces that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. You will poses a strong ability to envision and plan spaces that harmonise with the environment. A solid understanding of land use, environment design, plant biology, soil science and construction techniques.

Tasks & Responsibilities

* Design Development: Create conceptual and detailed Residential landscape designs that meet the needs of clients while adhering to environmental sustainability and aesthetic standards

* Client Communication: Present design proposals to clients, explaining the rationale behind design choices, and adjust the design based on feedback

* Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed plans, drawing, and specifications for contractors and clients, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations

* Research: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and new materials to incorporate innovative and cutting edge solutions into projects

Skills & experience

* Min 2yrs + Residential Landscape Architect experience (with a strong portfolio of completed jobs)

* Degree in Landscape Architect

* Proficiency in landscape design software (AutoCad, Adobe Creative Suite)

* Experience with green infrastructure, storm water mgmt. and low impact development

* Current Drivers License
