Key Responsibilities

A. Feasibility & Acquisition

Site due diligence (controls, zoning, easements, flood/bushfire).

Quick concept options to support purchase & budgeting.

B. Design Development & Approvals

Prepare full DA/CDC packs (Site Analysis, Shadows, Waste, Landscape, etc.).

Coordinate structural, hydraulic/syphonic, BASIX & NatHERS consultants.

Manage Council/Certifier RFIs to approval.

C. Construction Docs & Tender

Deliver CC/IFC sets: details, sections, window/door & material schedules.

Assist tender docs, technical Q&A and drawing schedules.

D. Site Support

Issue SIs, review variations, run construction briefings.

Site inspections for compliance with drawings & NCC Class 1.

Resolve RFIs/variations with minimal cost/time impact.

Key Requirements

Education: BArch/MArch (5-year equivalent).

Registration: NSW ARB preferred or NSW Design Practitioner (Class 2).

Experience: 5+ years low-rise residential/duplex; led ≥3 DA/CDC approvals.

Software: Revit/ArchiCAD + Enscape/Lumion, AutoCAD, Adobe CS.

Language: Strong English; Chinese reading a plus.

Soft Skills: Client focus, time management, coordination & conflict resolution.
