Senior Finance Officer

(Permanent position – 38 hours per week)

Hockey Tasmania is seeking an experienced and detail-driven Senior Finance Officer to lead the day-to-day financial operations of our organisation.

This is a pivotal role that supports both strategic oversight and operational delivery. You will work closely with the CEO, manage financial reporting, payroll, compliance, budgeting, and assist with funding submissions. You’ll also supervise part-time finance staff and liaise with stakeholders including clubs, parents, and our hospitality and venue teams.

What you'll bring:

Experience using MYOB and Microsoft Office applications

Proven track record in payroll, budgeting and reporting

Sound understanding of accounting principles

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Excellent communication and organisational skills

A current Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) card or willingness to obtain
