We are seeking a proactive and people focused People and Culture Advisor to join our growing team. Reporting to the General Manager of People and Culture, this is a hands on generalist role supporting employees and leaders in our Henderson offices and workshop, across the full employee lifecycle.

You will play a key role in ensuring smooth day to day People and Culture operations while also contributing to broader strategic initiatives that drive engagement, performance and a positive workplace culture.

What you will do

Coordinate People and Culture processes including performance reviews, salary reviews and talent succession planning

Partner with leaders to embed consistent and effective people practices

In collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Advisor, support recruitment and onboarding activities to ensure a smooth and positive new starter experience

Assist in delivering employee engagement initiatives including surveys, action planning and culture building activities

Provide practical advice on performance, conduct and low level employee relations matters

Contribute to the continuous improvement and development of People and Culture policies, procedures and templates

Assist with workforce planning data and reporting to support strategic decision making

Support the implementation of employee recognition programs and internal communication efforts

Provide general administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of People and Culture projects and day to day activities

What you will bring

Experience in a generalist HR role with knowledge of employment legislation and core HR processes

Strong communication, problem solving and relationship building skills

Ability to manage competing priorities with sound judgment and discretion

HR qualifications or equivalent experience

Experience with Employment Hero is desirable but not essential
