Shifts Available:
4-8 hour DAYTIME SHIFTS
8-hour AFTERNOON SHIFTS + Inactive SLEEPOVERS and
8-hour WEEKEND SHIFTS + Inactive SLEEPOVERS

IF YOU HAVE WORKED IN A NURSING HOME, HOSPITAL OR ASSISTED BOARDING HOUSE PREVIOUSLY - WE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU.

We're looking for casual staff for full-time or part-time home care roles, permanent employment is possible after trial period.

NO SHORT SHIFTS - minimum 4 hours
NO UNPAID BREAKS between supports
NO SHORT-NOTICE CANCELLATIONS

We offer 4-8 HOUR shifts every day or afternoon.

This is a STABLE and SECURE job for the right person, with 4-8 hour shifts either based from Rozelle (assisted share house licensed by DCJ) or Ryde area (private homes), you must have your own fully insured 4-passenger car and ideally be willing to do 1-2 set afternoon shifts per week, each attached to inactive sleepover shifts (starting at 2pm and finishing at 6am), with rotating weekends over the course of a fortnight.

Full rights to work in Australia unrestricted

NDIS Worker Check through ServiceNSW (or be prepared to get one)

Current police check certificate (or be prepared to get one)

Current driver's licence - MUST

A 4-passenger car to use while at work (KMs reimbursed) - MUST

Current First Aid Certificate - MUST

NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or be prepared to do it)

'Assist with medication' certificate (or be prepared to get one)

Ideally have availability to work some afternoons (from 2pm) including inactive sleepovers finishing at 6am

Availability to work rotating weekends

ESSENTIAL Criteria:

You are RELIABLE, RESPONSIBLE, COMMITTED and PUNCTUAL

Experience providing Personal Care to adults (including assistance with showering, cleaning, personal hygiene, incontinence, meal preparations etc)

Experience providing Community Access (one-on-one or groups up to 4 participants)

Experience supporting adults who have a mild to complex mental health or intellectual impairments

Relevant qualification or suitable work experience in mental health or disability support

You enjoy getting to know people and have a warm and caring personality

Excellent english language verbal and written communication skills

A 'can do' attitude, use initiative, have enthusiasm and a willingness to learn

You think independently and sometimes outside the square to resolve a situation

You are able to take direction to work autonomously or as part of a team

DESIRABLE Criteria:

Any kind of nursing experience, EN, AIN, RN

Reside fairly close to either Rozelle or Ryde
