Emeritus Research are seeking an enthusiastic part-time Registered Nurse to join our Clinical Team at the most dynamic and exciting clinical trials centre in Australia!

About the role:
Our team of Clinical Research Nurses work closely with our clinical and operational teams to deliver world class care to all our clinical trial participants. They ensure the safety of our participants, accurately carrying out protocol specified assessments and producing high quality data. In your part-time capacity. you will ensure this flows even more smoothly! Whilst experience in clinical trials would be helpful it is not essential.
To grow our business, you will successfully:
Deliver the best person-centred clinical care to study participants, protecting their welfare during the clinical trial
Practice safely within professional scope of practice while delivering exceptional, friendly participant focus
Perform trial related procedures such as obtaining vital signs, ECGs, phlebotomy and cannulation and collection of other pathological samples
Eliminate opportunity for medication errors when preparing and administering trial medication
Ensure patient safety by completing daily and monthly emergency equipment checks
Provide accurate documentation to eliminate data queries
Become a valued team member by participating in team meetings with innovative ideas and supporting your colleagues

What do we want from you?
Nursing qualification (Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent)
Current AHPRA Registration
2+ years work post graduate experience
Phlebotomy skills – must have
Administering medication – must have
Venepuncture and cannulation skills (desirable)
Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
