Registered Nurse Urology Practice Part-time

We are helping more and more of Northern Sydney with Specialist Urology Care - so we need another Registered Nurse!

Northern Urology Specialists help patients with prostate, kidney and bladder issues. Our rooms are in Dee Why and also St Leonards, where we help improve patient lives through specialist care delivered in a kind, professional and understanding way.

Our team members have a resilient, confident, can-do, positive attitude and enjoy providing the highest level of client service. Our team also cares for one another and enjoy working together and having fun.

We are looking for a Registered Nurse who:

Currently specializes or wants to specialize in a clinical area (Urology)

Enjoys working independently and as part of a team

Enjoys education and training

Enjoys forming relationships with their colleagues and patients

Preference will be given to those with experience in robotic surgeries

You will be a Registered Nurse who is resilient, motivated, interested in Urology and proud of your profession. We will provide you with training.

The role is permanent part-time, two days per week and your responsibilities will include:

Pre and post operative education for major cancer surgery

Conduct Urine Flow Tests and post void bladder scanning

Wound reviews

SPC changes

Catheter changes

Post-operative patient calls

Delivering pathology and imaging results to patients
