We are partnering with a well-regarded commercial construction company based in Briar Hill, North East Suburbs, Melbourne, that specialises in new builds and fit-outs across a wide range of commercial projects, including fast food outlets, medical centres, aged care, childcare, retail, and education facilities. With a strong pipeline of diverse work, they are now seeking a Project Coordinator with experience in either commercial or residential construction to join their team.

Job Responsibilities:

Support end-to-end project delivery by assisting the Project Manager with scheduling, documentation, and on-site coordination.

Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure timely procurement, deliveries, and execution of works

Track project progress against program timelines, flagging potential delays and helping implement corrective actions.

Manage project documentation including RFIs, variations, purchase orders, and site instructions using internal systems.

Coordinate site activities and inspections, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and contractual requirements.

Assist with cost control and reporting, maintaining accurate records of budgets, claims, and subcontractor invoices.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role within the commercial or residential construction industry.

Strong understanding of construction processes, site operations, and project delivery from start to finish.

Excellent communication and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively with subcontractors and consultants.

Proficient in construction documentation, including RFIs, variations, purchase orders, and site reports.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Relevant qualifications in Construction Management or a related field are preferred.
