The Opportunity

We’re looking for a skilled Field Installer to join our growing field operations team. This hands-on role involves installing and maintaining a wide range of network and electrical systems in various environments.

Key Responsibilities

As a Field Installer, you’ll work closely with our operations team as part of the ground team, supporting the deployment and maintenance of critical connectivity infrastructure.

Your responsibilities will include:

Install and configure business grade Starlink systems for mobile and fixed deployments

Deploy Point-to-Point (PTP) and Point-to-Multipoint (PTMP) wireless networks

Install and commission CCTV systems

Mount and install network hardware including antennas, routers, and switches

Perform tower and rooftop work using safety equipment

Test and commission network systems

Use tools and equipment such as drills, crimpers, and testers

Configure devices including IP settings and firmware updates

Conduct customer site visits and liaise with clients

Read and interpret technical drawings, design documents, product and client specifications, and install accordingly

Follow designated site access and safety protocols as specified to ensure protection of customer network operations and work in accordance with issued site safety documents including SWMS, JSA’s and other site-specific documents

Document and report installation activities

Travel to and from site as required

Experience working in the field

ACMA Accreditation (open cabling licence) *highly regarded

Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card)

Current licence to operate an Elevating Work Platform (EWP) *Highly regarded

IT Technical problem solving and network connectivity skills

Current Australian Driver’s Licence – no restrictions

Excellent people skills

Ability to work as part of a team and independently
