The School is seeking a part-time Bookkeeper for a 0.4 position $70,000 – $80,000 per year pro rata. Working days can be flexible as long as they align with fortnightly payroll requirements. Part-time or casual opportunity for an initial 12 month temporary contract.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Fortnightly payroll

Accounts payable

Accounts receivable

BAS

Data entry

HR Superannuation

Processing payments and invoices

Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions

Issuing bills and receipts

Preparing bank deposits and reconciling accounts

Assisting the Finance Officer with the preparation of budgets and financial reports

Working with the Principal and the Administration team

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Desirable Skills:

Experience with payroll and HR

Experience in Synergetic is desired but not essential as training will be given

A strong background in finance or accounting

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
