They are known for empowering innovation within their clients’ businesses by delivering Design software, design validation tools and services and data management in conjunction with engineering consulting services and training.

Due to ongoing growth and a strong pipeline of opportunity, we are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Business Development Manager to join their high-performing team in Perth.

An autonomous hybrid role, you will be WFH to do your admin when you're not on the road.

THE ROLE

This is a purely WA-based role with no interstate travel, focused on building and managing relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers across a broad spectrum of industries.

You'll be representing world-class CAD and design automation solutions, helping organisations streamline their engineering and product development processes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Identify and develop new business opportunities with medium-to-large enterprises

Build long-term relationships with senior stakeholders and C-level clients

Conduct consultative sales conversations to understand client challenges and offer tailored solutions

Deliver product demonstrations and solution overviews with technical backing

Collaborate with technical consultants and internal teams to ensure client satisfaction

Managing the full sales cycle – from prospecting to closing the deal.

About you

Engineering background (Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or Electrical Engineering preferred).

Proven sales experience – ideally in something technical.

Strong understanding of design processes and engineering workflows.

Hunter mentality – you’re driven to seek out and close new business.

Experience in the Manufacturing sector, particularly in the use or implementation of ERP/PLM Technologies.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain long-term relationships.

Salary and Benefits

$90K – 100K base salary.

Uncapped Commissions

Additional superannuation.

$10K Car Allowance
