About the role

In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to our young learners. With a focus on creating a nurturing and stimulating environment, you will work collaboratively to support the overall development and wellbeing of the children in our care.

What you'll be doing

Plan, implement and evaluate engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework

Opportunity to support our Educational Leader or take on this responsibility

Observe, document and assess children's learning and development, adapting programs to meet their individual needs

Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families and the wider community

Ensure a safe, clean and well-organised learning environment

Actively participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities

Comply with all relevant legislation, policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Hold a Diploma or a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or equivalent

At least 2 years' experience as a Diploma Educator or Early Childhood Educator

Experience or motivation to work as a 2IC strongly regarded

A current working with children check and first aid certificate

Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the early learning sector

Strong knowledge of early childhood development and educational best practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families and colleagues

A passion for nurturing and empowering young learners

Flexible, adaptable and committed to continuous improvement
