Position Overview:
We seek a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team as a Co-Group Leader for our 0- to 3-year-old age group. In this newly created role, you will work collaboratively with our experienced educators to deliver an engaging, dynamic, strength and play-based inclusive program that fosters children's holistic development.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive curriculum that reflects the strengths, interests and developmental needs of children aged 0-3 years.
Create a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, secure, and respected.
Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues based on trust, empathy, and open communication.
Observe and assess children's progress and use this information to inform individualised learning experiences.
Collaborate with families to support children's learning and development at home and in the centre.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements and centre policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Teaching or equivalent qualification recognised by ACECQA.
Current registration with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
Experience working with children aged 0-5 years in an early childhood setting.
Sound knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
