About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our vibrant team at Orchard ELC in Austral and Bradbury locations. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the lives of young children through engaging and developmentally-appropriate educational programs. What you'll be doing

Planning and delivering high-quality, play-based learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children in your care

Fostering a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating learning environment that promotes children's holistic development

Observing and documenting children's progress, and using this information to inform your teaching practices and individualised support

Collaborating with parents, guardians and the wider community to build strong partnerships and support children's learning

Maintaining a safe, hygienic and well-organised classroom, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies

Actively participating in professional development opportunities to continually enhance your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or equivalent qualification

Demonstrated experience as an Early Childhood Teacher, preferably in a similar setting

Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and a commitment to play-based, child-centred pedagogy

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

Creativity, flexibility and a passion for fostering children's learning and development

Current First Aid certificate, Working with Children Check
