Bookkeeper

We're seeking an experienced Bookkeepers to join a dynamic and growing construction company. Due to growth and expansion you'll be stepping into a fast-paced environment where ownership, adaptability and initiative are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end bookkeeping using Xero
• Payroll processing
• Upload and process invoices, subcontractor payments and manage AP/AR workflows.
• BAS preparation
• Bank Reconciliations
• Support monthly forecasting and budgeting; produce reports and graphs to track financial performance
• Post journals, accruals, and reconciliations for month-end
• Liaise with contractors and internal stakeholders including HR, Finance and the GM

Requirements:

• 3-5 years minimum experience in bookkeeping, ideally within the construction industry
• Strong accounting knowledge and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Xero
• BAS registered is desirable not essential
• Excellent communication with the ablility to liaise confidently with contractors and stakeholders
• A self-starter with ownership and the ability to work independently
• Diploma in Accounting or Bookkeeping
