About the role

We are seeking a skilled and organised Production Assistant to join our growing team at Solar Panel Options in Tullamarine, VIC. This is a part-time (4 days a week) role that will support our administration and office functions. As an integral member of our team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our day-to-day operations.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with data entry and record keeping to maintain accurate and up-to-date information

Creating jobs in the database and keeping a record of documents for each installation.

Creating jobs in the STC portal and submitting government STC Solar rebates for small-scale installations.

Submitting applications for LGC Power Station Accreditations.

Submitting post-installation documents for VEECs.

Submitting solar pre-approvals with the network provider.

Submitting meter alteration requests with network providers and retailers to have electricity meters configured for solar.

Confirming meter alteration completion and closing files.

Arranging service calls with electricians for warranty, customer service or other necessary call-outs.

Submitting warranty claims

What we're looking for

Prior experience as a Production Officer/Assistant within the solar industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a range of stakeholders

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

Proficient in using Google, Gmail, Docs, and Sheets

A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

A keen interest in the renewable energy industry would be highly regarded
