About PKF

We are currently looking for someone to join our administration team to help support the internal running of the PKF Melbourne business. The role can be combined with current studies and therefore be of great support to gaining a practical experience in your final year of university.

Position Summary

The Junior Corporate Accountant role is responsible for assisting the Financial Controller in providing PKF Melbourne and other associated entities management accounting and support. You will be under the development of the Financial Controller and assist with providing the necessary reporting to run the business. This role will suit someone who is looking to develop their career in industry rather than the profession.

You’re likely in your final year of university studying Accounting or Commerce or recently graduates

Looking to work part/full time while finishing your studies

Looking to specialise your career within corporate/industry accounting

You love making life easier in Excel

Key responsibilities

The key responsibilities of the role include the following:

Assist in providing

Monthly accounts reconciliations

General Ledger reconciliations

Journal entries

Fixed assets register

Year-end processing

Assist with the following reports

Productivity reports

WIP and debtor report

BAS/GST Reports

Monthly reports

Ad hoc reports as required by divisions or Finance Manager

Any other responsibilities as directed by Finance Manager

Education /Experience Requirements

The ideal candidate will be in their final year or recently graduated from university studying Accounting or Commerce
