Our client specialises in offering production, service & distribution of industrial equipment to the drilling and blasting sector of the mining industry. They are seeking an experienced Accounts Specialist manage the company's financial transactions and supporting commercial activities. Primarily this is a key role that requires a combination of financial acumen, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to liaise with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing:

• Coordinating and compiling end of month reports/processes

• Reconciling Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and general ledger transactions

• Process invoices, receipts, banking, statements and general data management

• Assist in preparation and monitoring of monthly budgets

• Generate financial statements, present to management and external stakeholders

• Provide financial insights to support pricing strategies and contract negotiations

• Manage the foreign risk portfolio / transactions

• Conversing with cost centre managers to develop and distribute cost centre reports

• HR Administration including payroll, processing timesheets and maintain records

• Responsible for the annual audits and make improvement recommendations

What you’ll need:

• Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedure

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite

• Experience in the use of SAP B1 ERP (preferred)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
