About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ICT Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in Adelaide. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders across business units and technology teams to elicit, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications that support the delivery of impactful ICT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyse and document business and technical requirements.

Conduct gap analysis, workflow reviews, and impact assessments.

Translate business needs into user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.

Facilitate workshops, interviews, and focus groups with internal and external stakeholders.

Support solution design and development teams by ensuring requirements are clearly understood.

Assist in testing, validation, and user acceptance activities.

Contribute to continuous improvement of BA practices and tools.

About You

Proven experience (1-2+ years) as a Business Analyst in an ICT environment.

Strong understanding of business processes, systems, and technology platforms.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Experience with Agile, Scrum or Waterfall methodologies.

Proficient in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

Desirable

Experience working in government or highly regulated sectors.

Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or Agile BA.

Understanding of data analysis, APIs, or systems integration.
