To keep pace with demand and support smarter growth, we’re looking for a proactive, confident and commercially-minded Demand Planner to join our team. The Opportunity

This is a pivotal role within a fast-growing consumer brand that’s growing all over the world. Operating in a startup environment, you’ll need to be agile, collaborative, and comfortable rolling up your sleeves. You’ll take ownership of the end-to-end planning process maintaining optimal inventory levels across our Australian and offshore warehouses, ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on process improvement, has a passion for data-led decisions. Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain demand forecasts using sales data, market trends and promotional insights.

• Track key metrics including forecast accuracy, DIFOT, margin management and inventory health.

• Work closely with our Design team to identify and escalate risks related to stock availability or supply disruptions.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Production, and Logistics teams.

• Continuously identify areas for process improvement and planning efficiency.

• Monitor and report significant forecast variances.

• Place orders within expected lead times and adjust as needed based on demand.

• Identify and rectify inventory errors and improve planning parameters.

• Gather feedback and provide insights to enhance inventory performance.

• Collaborate with internal teams to align demand planning with supply and business priorities.

• Incorporate new products, markdowns and promotional activity into forecasts.

What You Bring

• Strong analytical mindset with attention to accuracy and detail

• Experience in demand and/or inventory planning and customer fulfilment in a retail environment

• Advanced data analysis capabilities and Excel proficiency.

• A continuous improvement mindset and the confidence to challenge the status quo • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Confidence in managing daily operations alongside project work.

• A calm, resilient, and team-oriented approach.

What We’re Looking For

• A cross-functional thinker who can engage and influence stakeholders

• Someone with strong analytical capability and a commercial mindset

• Comfortable in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment where initiative is valued

• Experience in demand planning, inventory management or merchandise planning – FMCG or retail preferred

• A sense of accountability and the ability to connect the dots across the broader business

• Proven experience in supply and demand planning, ideally in a high-volume consumer environment

• Excellent trend analysis and forecasting ability • Background in beauty, retail, fashion or similar fast-moving sectors
