Fornaro is seeking an experienced and mathematically minded Finance Credit Analyst or Para Broker to join our professional staff on a full-time basis. The position is all about structuring deals regarding lender policy, finding out of the box solutions, and ensuring accurate calculations that are built for success!

This role will suit somebody with a passion for finance, broking, and solving complex lending puzzles!

What you’ll do:

Crunch the numbers to support sound deal structuring and lender selection

Work closely with our head Broker to analyse and structure a range of finance scenarios

Prepare detailed financial analysis to act as a guide that informs the Broker’s lending strategy

Interpret complex income streams, financial statements, and ownership structures with a keen attention to detail

Map out lending structures that align with both client goals and lender policy

Identify potential deal risks and opportunities to ensure applications are positioned for success

Play a key role in shaping recommendations before deals goes to the lender

What you need:

Cert IV in Mortgage Broking (Diploma preferred or willingness to complete)

Minimum of Year 12 general mathematics (financial modelling) – methods, specialist mathematics, or tertiary qualifications are advantageous.

Knowledge of lender policies or ability to learn quickly

A sharp eye for numbers with both accuracy and speed

Strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously

Advanced Excel skills

Experience using Connective Mercury advantageous

Clear and professional approach with keen stakeholder management abilities

Current police and credit checks (within 6 months)
