Are you a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst looking for your next challenge? Randstad Digital is working with a large organisation in Queensland to find a BI Analyst to join their team for a 6-month fixed term contract based in Brisbane's northside. This role will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of business intelligence systems, providing timely data and analysis to support operational decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Provide authoritative, expert, and timely technical advice on business intelligence solutions.
• Undertake ongoing development, maintenance, and enhancement activities for business intelligence systems and processes (database design, ETL, reporting).
• Develop business intelligence tools including visualizations, dashboards, and standard reports.
• Design, develop, and deploy Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) cubes.
• Design, develop, test, and release complex data extracts using SQL within Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle database technologies.
• Analyze, interpret, and transform complex data into meaningful information for operational performance reporting and decision-making.
• Provide responsive and high-quality standard and ad-hoc reports.
• Mentor and coach staff on business intelligence solutions.

Necessary Skills:

• High-level knowledge and experience with multi-tier business intelligence platforms using enterprise-level tools (e.g., Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server Relational Database Management Systems).
• High-level knowledge of writing SQL code
• High-level ability to develop, coordinate, and implement complex data design, collection, interpretation, analysis, and practical reporting solutions using BI systems.

Highly Desirable (but not mandatory):

• Experience with SQL, T/SQL, PL/SQL, Cognos Transformer, and Framework Manager.
• Experience with PowerBI or similar.
• Knowledge and experience in relational and dimensional data modelling methodologies.
• Experience in scripting languages (e.g., Python).
