Are you a trade-qualified mechanic with a sense of humour, a love for Land Rovers, and the ability to hold a spanner without swearing at it? You're in luck.

At Les Richmond Automotive, we don’t just fix Land Rovers — we resurrect, restore, convert, weld, paint, upholster, and occasionally sweet-talk them back to life. If it can be done to a Land Rover, we probably do it. All under one very shiny 1200sqm roof.

🛠️ About the Role (AKA: What You’ll Be Doing Instead of Scrolling TikTok):

Working in a massive, near-new workshop that smells faintly of fresh tools and mechanical greatness

Servicing, repairing, restoring, rebuilding, and generally impressing Land Rovers and their owners

Monday to Friday, 8:30–5:30 (yep, weekends are yours — go camping, sleep in, build a Lego Defender, we won’t judge)

Being part of a legendary team who love cars, love jokes, and don’t take themselves too seriously (except when torque specs are involved)

Fixing stuff. All kinds of stuff. Electrical. Mechanical. Mysterious clunks and rattles. If it moves or doesn’t move but should — it’s your time to shine.

🧠 About You:

You’re our kind of human if you:

Are a fully qualified mechanic (not just YouTube-certified)

Have good time management (aka you show up before smoko)

Can solve problems with a multimeter in one hand and a coffee in the other

Know your way around diagnostics like a detective in overalls

Work well alone, in a team, or next to that guy who listens to 2000s punk all day

Have a manual driver’s licence — bonus points if you can reverse a trailer on the first go

Take on challenges like “why does this make that weird noise only in reverse uphill while turning?”

Can talk to customers without breaking into a cold sweat

Able to communicate in English (What language you curse in under your breath doesn't matter)

Don’t mind getting your hands dirty (and sometimes greasy, dusty, or mysteriously sparkly)
