About the role

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician/ Mechanic to join our dynamic team at Rick smith motors' in Horsham, VIC 3400. As a full-time member of our skilled trades and services team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a diverse range of vehicles to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

• Diagnose, service and repair a variety of vehicle makes and models using the latest tools and equipment
• Carry out scheduled maintenance, including oil changes, tune-ups, brake work, and other general repairs
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and provide efficient and effective solutions
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used
• Ensure the workshop environment is clean, safe and organised at all times
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate technical information in a clear and understandable manner

What we're looking for

• Formal qualifications in Automotive Mechanics or a related trade
• Minimum 3 years' experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of the latest automotive technology and repair techniques
