Carers and Disability Link (CADL) focus on delivering compassionate and personalised care across regional South Australia. Our four offices are based in Nuriootpa, Woodside, Clare and Kadina. CADL support Carers, people with disability, children and young people and people aged over 65 years.
With decades of experience, CADL has built a reputation as one of the most trusted and respected community care providers in regional South Australia.
Our Op Shop in Woodside has been in operation for over 15 years. We currently have a vacancy for in the role of Community Op Shop Coordinator. This role works within our organisation to engage our communities, supports a volunteer workforce, delivers high levels of customer service, and drives op shop sales.
We are looking for someone with passion and drive for connecting with local communities, supporting a wide range of people and delivering sound customer experience.
This role is Permanent Part Time and has flexible work hours of up to 22.8 hours per week, with potential to increase as volunteers are engaged and sales and shop open times increase.
Responsibilities of the role include:
Working within the organisation to support our communities
Supporting our volunteer workforce to manage stock control, donations, pricing, sorting, distribution, rotation, and disposal of donated goods
Assisting with developing, reviewing, and implementing policy and procedure relating to the operating of the op shop
Providing excellent customer service consistently to maximise sales
Assist with volunteer recruitment and onboarding
Assist to oversee training and development of volunteers
Focusing on opportunities for continuous quality improvement
Building supportive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Essential requirements of the role include:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to connect and communicate with a diverse range of people
Proven relationship building and networking skills
Experience within the Community Services Sector
Strong administration skills, including the knowledge of the full Microsoft Suite
Experience in working with budgets and rosters
An eye for detail
