We run two independent liquor stores in the Perth Hills - both stocked with a curated, ever-evolving range of wines, spirits, beers and liqueurs you won’t find at your average bottle-o. We're all about quality, creativity, and a genuine connection with our customers.

We’re on the lookout for an Assistant Manager to help keep both stores running smoothly. This is a hands-on role: you’ll be doing everything from ordering stock to helping customers discover their new favourite drop. You'll work closely with the GM and senior team across both locations.

There’s potential for this to become a full-time role for the right person. The role includes a 3-month probation period, with the possibility of a pay review depending on performance and how things are tracking.

The Role:

25-30+ hours a week (with some flexibility)

One or two evening shifts a week, depending on your availability

Very occasional weekend cover – only if someone’s away or unwell

Rotating between both stores depending on the needs of the week

Who We’re Looking For:

Retail experience in liquor or a related field - you know your way around POS systems, ordering, invoicing, and stock control

Physically fit and not afraid to get stuck in (you’ll be lifting cartons, moving stock and keeping things running)

Interest in wine, spirits and beer - whether you're a certified nerd or just thirsty to learn

Some marketing or merchandising savvy - someone who notices trends, thinks visually, and wants to make a store feel alive

Friendly, proactive, and reliable - a good human who genuinely wants to help customers and support the team

RSA required, Approved Manager certification preferred

Must have a car and valid driver’s licence

Flexible availability, especially evenings and very occasional weekends

What You'll Be Doing:

Working with senior staff to maintain high customer service standards

Helping with ordering and stock management across multiple suppliers

Entering invoices, managing inventory and tracking sales

Merchandising and promotional planning

Contributing ideas and energy to help both stores grow

Occasionally posting to social media or assisting with marketing projects
