Position: Self Storage/Wine Storage, Facility Office Assistant Manager (Part-Time)
Location: Myaree, WA
Hours: Offering 25 hours across 5 days, this is flexible and can be reduced to suit the right applicant to 20 hours across 4 days if requested.

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced "People Leader" to oversee daily operations at our self-storage facility. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with a strong background in administration, customer service, and retail/office management. This is a part time role and the shifts will be a mix of 8:30am-1:30pm and 12:30am-5:30pm shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the storage facility, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer service.
- Support office staff on the front counter when required.
- Respond to customer inquiries across various platforms, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records, including data entry into our Storman Software System.
- Monitor stock levels and manage inventory efficiently.
- Ensure the facility remains clean, organised, and welcoming for clients.
- Collaborate with the General Manager on operational improvements and strategic planning.
- If applicable, assist with marketing and social media initiatives.
-Manage and Liaise with trades that come on site for servicing and repairs.
Essential Criteria:
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a management or administrative role, preferably within retail, storage, or small business environments.
- Initiative is essential, we are looking for someone that can see what needs to be done and create action plans.
- Proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced computer proficiency, including experience with XERO (highly advantageous but not essential).
- Exceptional organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Flexibility to cover shifts as needed, including the occasional Saturday if no staff availability.
Please note, there is a physical component to this position. As you are in charge of keeping the facility in tip-top shape, you may be at times required to be a little hands on. We are happy to explain this in more detail but here is a glimpse: occasionally putting together a flat pack shelving system (no tools required), moving wine boxes, pulling the occasional weed or two, sweeping out storage units etc
