HV Power Engineering Pty Ltd t/as Herbert Rieck Engineering is an Australian owned and operated business located in Wetherill Park NSW 2164. We manufacture a wide range of hardware and fittings for use in electrical substations and the transmission network.

With a strong pipeline of work, we are seeking an experienced Aluminium Welder to join our team. Mild Steel Welding skills are a bonus.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, hard-working person able to undertake welding tasks, prioritise own workload and be flexible in their approach depending on the needs of the business.

This is a permanent full-time position with a 6-month probation period.

$42.00 per hour + superannuation.

Overtime may be awarded each week dependant on workload.

Immediate start.

Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on aluminium components

Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Conduct quality checks on all work to meet Australian Standards

Operate fabrication tools and machinery safely and effectively

Work both independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.

Requirements:

Proven experience in aluminium welding (minimum 2–3 years preferred)

Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Trade qualification in Welding or Fabrication (preferred).
