Part-Time Cook – With Opportunity to Grow

Our beautiful new centre in Clyde North is opening soon, and we’re looking for a passionate and creative Cook to join our team!

This role is all about creating fresh, nutritious and delicious meals for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, fuelling their play, learning, and development each day.

About the Role
As our Food Safety Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for:

Preparing daily meals and snacks that meet nutritional guidelines

Planning and rotating a seasonal menu that children (and families!) will love

Managing stock rotation and food ordering

Catering for allergies, special diets, and family preferences

Supporting special events and celebrations

Maintaining a clean, hygienic kitchen and ensuring compliance with all food safety regulations

Start Part-Time, Grow with Us
As we open and welcome new families, this position will begin with flexible part-time hours and grow to up to 37.5 hours per week as enrolments increase.

What We’re Looking For
You’ll bring:

A current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate

Experience with food allergies and dietary needs

Strong written and verbal communication skills

A valid Working with Children Check and Police Check

A love of food and flair for making healthy meals fun and appealing to children

Reliability, professionalism, and an energetic, team-focused mindset

Previous experience in early childhood services or a Certificate III in Children’s Services is highly regarded but not essential.
