Longwarry Twinklekids Early Learning Centre is seeking a warm, reliable, and experienced Cook to join our team! We are a nurturing early childhood setting dedicated to providing children aged 6 weeks to 6 years with a safe, fun, and enriching environment — and we believe that great food plays a vital role in their wellbeing and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and prepare nutritious, balanced meals and snacks for children in accordance with dietary guidelines and centre policies

Cater to children with allergies, intolerances, and specific dietary requirements

Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen in line with food safety and hygiene regulations

Order and manage kitchen supplies and inventory

Work collaboratively with educators and centre leadership to align meal planning with learning programs

Keep accurate food safety records and comply with all relevant regulations

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience cooking in a childcare, aged care, school, or similar setting

A genuine passion for cooking and child nutrition

Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain)

Strong organisational and time-management skills

Ability to work independently and efficiently
