You will be part of an exciting program delivering a new approach to providing AOD support to adults, families and youth.
About the position
We are seeking someone to serve as the initial point of contact and provide administrative support to management and staff, and stakeholders inquiring about or accessing CAAPS services and programs. You will support CAAPS' operations by integrating the Culture, Vision, Values, and Mission into your work. Support communications, engagement, promotions, events and media management, assisting with the execution and implementation of the CAAPS Communication Strategy.
Some of your responsibilities will be:
Provide general administrative support to ensure efficient operation of all CAAPS programs and high-level administrative support to the Executive Management team.
Welcome and assist visitors, respond to emails, and handle phone calls.
Prepare and format professional internal and external communications, including emails, presentations, and reports.
Maintain and organise CAAPS filing systems according to procedures and administrative standards.
Drive critical messaging and contribute to the delivery of CAAPS Strategic goals
Liaise with Senior Management to design and deliver CAAPS media and publications
Assist in leveraging strategic partnerships and platforms to convey the benefits of CAAPS Membership and opportunities to join
Develop recruitment campaigns to leverage social media
Develop and schedule periodic reviews for resources that communicate our services clearly and coordinate their design, print and distribution
Fulfill other duties as required within the scope of this position.
Your skills, experience and qualifications include:
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to adapt communication style to meet the diverse needs of others.
Ability to present a friendly, helpful, and positive image of CAAPS, with excellent telephone etiquette in line with CAAPS Customer Service Standards.
Demonstrated capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-cultural environment.
Dedication to meticulous attention to detail.
Certificate in Administration, Governance, or related field.
Current First Aid Certificate
Current Mandatory Reporting (NAPCAN) Certificate
Current NT Driver’s License (minimum C Class)
Current Criminal History Check
Current Ochre Card (Category E)
