Eurofurn is looking to employ factory and site-based trades assistants.

About the role:

As an integral part of Eurofurn’s project delivery team you will be assisting across a diverse range of areas including cabinetmaking, joinery, polishing, upholstery, logistics and installation. Vacancies are available for our Virginia based facility as well as working on site with our installation teams

What you will be doing:

Assisting in Various positions: - Helping with cutting, sewing, assembling, sanding, and finishing wooden/Upholster components or delivering to site.

Tool and Material Preparation: - Preparing the necessary materials, tools, and equipment for the team, including selecting and cutting materials, and organising the workspace.

Operating Machinery: Under supervision, using tools and machines such as panel saws, sanders, sewing machines, staple/nail guns, routers and driving company vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Measuring and Marking: Assist with accurate measurements and marking for cutting, trimming, routing, and assembly as per the drawing.

Supporting Installation: - Assisting in the delivery, transportation, and installation of the cabinets/joinery and Upholstery work at the job sites, ensuring alignment and secure fittings.

Quality Control: This involves helping to check the quality of finished products and ensure they meet the specifications and quality standards.

Clean and Maintain Workspace: Keep your workplace tidy and maintain it after finishing the work.

Time Management: - Ensuring our projects are delivered on time.

What you will bring to the team:

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication.

Current Driver’s License

Current OH&S White Card, or willingness to obtain.

Current First Aid and CPR Certification, or willingness to obtain.
