About the role

Join the growing team at Ricbuilt Heavy Industries' as a full-time Trade Assistant based in Mackay, QLD. In this hands-on role, you will provide crucial support to our skilled tradespeople, contributing to the successful completion of a variety of construction and maintenance projects.

What you'll be doing

Assist tradespeople with the installation, repair and maintenance of equipment and machinery

Prepare work areas and materials to enable efficient completion of tasks

Operate hand and power tools in a safe and responsible manner

Complete general labouring duties such as loading, unloading and moving materials

Maintain a clean and organised work environment

Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Some experience in a trade assistant or labourer role, preferably within the construction or manufacturing industries

Minimum of 6 months experience in a trade assistant or labourer role

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A keen eye for detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely

A strong commitment to workplace health and safety

A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn

A current driver's licence

A current Forklift ticket

Permanent Australian work rights or appropriate visa
