THE ROLE

An exciting chance awaits for a Limited building surveyor to join a esteemed organization leading the way in the Building Surveying sector.

DUTIES

• Deal with staff queries
• Take phone call and email queries
• Problem solve jobs
• Respond to VBA
• Issue enforcement
• Process new building permit applications, prepare and submit documentation to relevant statutory authorities
• Complete assessments of Class 1 and Class 10 buildings
• Prepare Building Permit documentation
• Check and process Certificate of Final Inspections and Occupancy Permits
• Liaise with clients and local councils to ensure that projects are dealt with in accordance with building regulations

ABOUT YOU

• Be licenced as a building surveyor limited or be close to accreditation
• Practical and proven understanding of the Building Act, Regulations, NCC, Australian Standards, and other applicable laws
• Strong understanding of working drawings, plans, and specifications
• Comprehensive grasp of various building techniques
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, coupled with keen attention to detail
• Capability to efficiently organize and prioritize personal workload
