About the role

We are seeking two dedicated and passionate Assistant Educators to join our dynamic team at the Cornubia Play and Learn Centre in Cornubia, QLD 4130. As an Assistant Educator, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality early childhood education and care in a part-time capacity.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with the planning and implementation of engaging, age-appropriate educational programs for children

Actively participating in the supervision and care of children, ensuring their safety, wellbeing and development

Collaborating with the Lead Educator and other team members to create a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating learning environment

Effectively communicating with parents and guardians to build strong partnerships and provide updates on children's progress

Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements

Continuously seeking opportunities for professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

A relevant tertiary qualification or studying in Early Childhood Education or a related field

Experience working in a childcare or educational setting, preferably in an Assistant Educator or similar role

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to supporting the growth and development of young children

Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

A current Working with Children Check (or equivalent) and First Aid certification
