Expeditions Early Learning Journey is a small family-owned and operated company. We have multiple services across QLD and are looking for our next shining stars to join our incredible journey. An opportunity has been created at our amazing Raceview Service , our Raceview service delivers a home away from home feel with long-standing Educators. Our Team is growing and we are on the lookout for the next superstars to join the team.

At Expeditions, you work alongside a fantastic Director who has created a collaborative, supportive and fun working environment for their team of Educators. Expeditions has built a highly respectable reputation within our community for being open, honest, supportive and present for our team. Our Expedition Raceview service is supported by a team of Educators who have created a consistent and stable environment for the children, families and community.

We are looking to fill the following positions in the service:

Early Childhood Teacher can be a working towards (wage negotiable)

Educational Leader

Lead Educator (full time)

Assistant Educators (can be working towards)

The position encompasses the following:

Providing quality childcare, supervision and support to the children, families and other staff members at our service

Ensuring the centre is compliant with all state legislation and NQF standards

Delivering a program compliant with the learning frameworks and based around the children's interests

Delivering consistent high-quality care and presentation to all work practices

Building and maintaining strong relationships with centre staff, parents, children and the wider community

To be successful in your application, you must have the following:

ECT or working towards

Qualified Cert 3 and Diploma or working towards

Current Working with Children Check

Police Criminal Check

Child Protection Training

Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma and CPR qualifications

Experience implementing the various learning frameworks (specifically the EYLF)

Ability to provide a rich and stimulating environment to all children

Professional attitude

Effective and competent communicator

Empathy, motivation, inspiration and a genuine love for the education of children

Ability to work with a supportive network, i.e. Director, Assistant Director, Educational Leader and external management company

A high attention to detail, ability to provide an organised room environment and ability to work within a fast-paced environment
