Our client, a very large, Federal Government Organisation, Seek the experience of a Lead Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Lead a squad of Service Reliability Engineers (APS 5 LH) to deliver resilient, scalable, and high-performing systems.
• Coordinate and manage major incident responses, including post-incident reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure consistent application of engineering standards, reliability practices, and operational procedures across the squad.
• Collaborate with Assistant Directors EAST and WEST to align squad activities with broader technical and strategic goals.

Experience:

• Experience with configuring and using monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace or Splunk
• Experience in scripting language such as: SPL, SQL, Python, and DQL
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
• Demonstrated experience leading technical teams in service reliability, site reliability engineering, or infrastructure operations
• Strong capability in incident management, root cause analysis, and operational resilience.
