Senior or Lead Electrical Engineer

Company: A global EPCM company

Location: Pinjarra, WA

Project: Brownfield SUSCAP Mining Projects

Duration: 12-Months Initial Contract

Key Responsibilities:

Perform and manage electrical system design, engineering calculations, and technical verification, including LV/HV systems, instrumentation, and PLC equipment.

Input into electrical estimates and execution schedules.

Participate site visits, project reviews, and safety workshops.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 7 years’ experience as an Electrical Design Engineer in mining or mineral processing industry.

Proficiency in brownfield electrical systems modification detailed design and knowledge of instrumentation and control system interfaces.

Bachelor of Engineering - Electrical (essential) accredited by Engineers Australia.

Desirable certifications: Hazardous Area Certification, Functional Safety Certification, Electrical Trade background.

Experience in electrical and instrumentation design in the Refinery/Mining industry or similar.
