About the role

Uplan.me, a dynamic and innovative startup software company based in Adelaide, is seeking a talented Accountant to support our efforts in creating innovative software solutions and experiences that delight all of our current and future end users.

What you'll be doing

You'll be working with our internal team to help shape and develop our internal systems and business procedures.

You will be doing minimal accounting tasks as the business is not engaging with customers at the moment.

You will be required to engage in consultation with our internal development team to help them understand the best practices and procedures that need to be followed to allow them to design stable and accurate internal accounting tools for our future staff.

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance, with minimal experience required along with a accreditation from any relevant accounting group or professional body.

Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting

Proficiency in the use of accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial tools

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels

CPA or any other equivalent qualification is mandatory
